Looking for Places to Eat on Anglesey during your holiday?

Places to Eat on Anglesey Mon Mam Cymru

Anglesey has been renowned for its food for centuries, christened “Mam Cymru” or “Mother of Wales” by Gerald of Wales in Medieval times; its rich farmland could provide sufficient food to sustain the whole of Wales. Almost a thousand years on, and there’s a great choice of cafes, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants and other places to eat, so there’s always something to suit all pockets and tastes.

We’ve included a few of our favourite places to eat here, together with some recommended by guests who have stayed with us at Cerrig y Barcud Holiday Cottages Anglesey. Please let us know of any you’ve found during your stay with us, and we’ll share them with other guests

During busier periods, most of all at holiday times, it may be worth calling ahead to check whether a reservation is advised. At most other times, you’ll usually be able to call in a get a table without pre-booking.
